CBORD Privacy Policy

The CBORD Group does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.

The CBORD Group analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on our website. Except for sections of the site that require a user name and password to access, our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

1. To collect statistics of the number of new visitors to our site versus returning visitors.  We also use them to see what paths users take through our site to assist our designers with making frequently accessed information more easily accessible.
2. To store information used in forms.  For example, if you fill out one form on our website, when you go to fill out a second form, information that is common to both forms (e.g., name, organization, email address) will be already filled in for you.
3. To provide personalization of our web site.  For example, if you don't want to see the Flash intro when you enter a specific market home page, that preference can be retained for future visits.

The CBORD Group maintains several email lists to provide an active forum for email discussion about systems applications, industry trends and management issues.  Individuals must affirmatively ask to join our mailing lists by contacting us directly at webmaster@cbord.com. Only CBORD clients may join the mailing list.  If you are interested in joining these lists, you can follow these instructions. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized CBORD Group staff, including other list subscribers.
