UC Merced Uses CS Gold and iCLASS Readers to Manage Campus Access |

The University of California at Merced opened on September 5, 2005, making it the first new American research university of the twenty-first century. The new school opted for the CS Gold campus card system from CBORD, including a substantial HID iCLASS card reader installation for access control.
