Senior Systems Administrator
We have an immediate need for an experienced Systems Administrator familiar with both Linux and Windows platforms. Candidates must have experience installing, configuring, and optimizing Linux and Windows systems software, patches, and upgrades. Deep knowledge of RedHat-based Linux distributions and Microsoft Windowse Server operating systems is highly desired.

Responsibilities of this position include: managing PCI infrastructure and policy/procedure updates to hosting provider; performing an annual onsite PCI security audit with assigned QSA; implementing and maintaining RedHat systems, and Windows Server 2003 and 2008; monitoring load and recommending a plan for growth; documenting changes and patch management for audit purposes; creating and modifying documentation, system security policies, back-up and archiving procedures; and acting as a liaison between groups while deploying application code into staging and production environments. To be successful in this position, candidates must work well in a team environment, be able to work autonomously, have the ability to focus on details and provide follow-through on complex projects, and must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications: Possess an Associate’s Degree and/or four years of practical experience in the above mentioned areas. Also required is experience with Shell Scripting and Networking technologies and at least two years Web server administration (Apache). Must also have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with at least three years experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure on local and hosted servers. A strong understanding of TCP/IP and secure communication protocols and RedHat Linux (AS/ES 4.0) administration is necessary. Experience in building minimal, secured systems is a plus, as is familiarity with PHP and/or PostgreSQL.

Programming
Advisory Software Engineer
Performs product design on enterprise multi-tiered web application, developer mentoring, coding, and code reviews. The individual in this position must be able to operate unsupervised and is called upon to consult for the most highly complex design projects for some of CBORD's largest clients.

Duties include mentoring team members on complex product design, implementation and maintenance activities; researching, analyzing and solving problems found in QA or product support; providing technical leadership and mentoring, and consulting in department analysis, design and code reviews.

A high level of technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation is necessary to be successful in the position, along with expert analytical and design skills in a multi-product/multi-environment level.

Qualifications: Advanced degree, masters or doctorate preferred, in business applications areas or software design. Typically requires 10 to 15 years of experience in product design, architecture, or support experience in the Windows platform. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a SCRUM team. Candidates must have a history of successful product development in an agile environment, along with experience in developing multi-tiered applications using the .NET Framework, C#, MVC, Oracle or other relational database and a strong understanding of object oriented development for highly scalable applications. Experience with cloud-computing is a plus. Relocation to Ithaca is required.

Senior Technical Support Specialist
Provides technical support to clients, answering complex questions on function and usage of product via the telephone, internet and/or email. Serves as primary support liaison between CBORD and the client. Communicates with support center staff regarding product issues, including the escalation of undocumented or unknown issues to the product development and quality assurance staff. Possesses expert knowledge of CBORD products. Provides work leadership to less senior specialists. Operates under minimal supervision. Usually requires four to nine years of product support experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business applications areas or computer science, or comparable experience in IT related field including knowledge of hardware, operating systems and networking. Experience in help desk/technical support or related experience. Typically requires four to nine years of customer support experience. Experience with computers and Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with major industry RDBMS with emphasis on Oracle, MS SQL and Sybase ASA.

This position will most likely be based in the Canton, OH office. An opportunity could exist in Ithaca but only for a high level right candidate.

The primary role of the Marketing Associate is to implement and nurture consumer facing marketing strategies on behalf of affiliate partners and direct clients within the e-commerce and retail industries. The associate is also responsible for supporting the marketing department and senior management by providing valuable customer insight and analysis in support of our go-to market activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: project management, program execution, customer segmentation and analysis, data and list pulls, reporting departmental metrics, generating reports, manually cleaning and updating data, and analyzing both traditional and web marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Collaborate with marketing and partnership development teams to develop media plans to meet and exceed partner marketing goals.

• Assume responsibility for the routine maintenance of website content, consumer messaging and data.

• Track projects and maintain business line marketing calendars.

• Act as mediator between affiliate companies and Student Advantage.

• Maintain day-to-day client services and communications for national partners (direct and affiliate) in areas of website presence, email campaigns, social media and transaction reporting.

• Circulate marketing materials for internal team and external client approval of language, logo placement and other trademarked content.

• Develop and grow relationships with internal and external contacts in order to successfully execute partner marketing campaigns.

• Collaborate on the development of reporting platforms that support the needs of the external clients and internal business teams.

• Review analysis and present trends at quarterly partner’s status meeting.

Account Representative - Client Development
Serves customers by selling Foodservice Management Systems (FMS/Cashless) products and meeting customer needs for the Healthcare market. The position represents the CBORD foodservice, cashless, and point-of-sale products directly, and the full breadth of CBORD products indirectly. Works with the existing FMS and Odyssey Healthcare client base. An assertive and self-motivated personality is necessary for this position.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with or one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must have previous software sales experience in the foodservice, healthcare, or related markets; experience in foodservice technology, or a combination of the above. Also required is a strong knowledge of computers and experience with Word and Excel.

National Market Manager - Long Term Care
SUMMARY:

Leads CBORD’s efforts in the Long-term Care / Senior Living marketplace for the Foodservice Management Systems Division. Act as the account representative for FMS/NetMenu Systems in Long-term Care/ Senior Living, in addition to managing account representatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Business Planning - Devise a business plan for the segment that achieves the goals set out by the Director of Sales, and successfully execute that plan.

Marketing/Tradeshows - Coordinate marketing activities, including sponsorships, trade shows, speaking engagements and “message” development by working closely with Media Services to create the marketing materials. Attend national and all regional tradeshows. Actively participate in ADA, and other tradeshows/associations as appropriate.

Partnerships - Coordinate our partnerships, and develop new ones in the long-term care marketplace.

Client Services - Visit problem/key accounts, work with Client Services Department to devise resolution plans to protect our license fee bases. Actively work with development managers and other market managers towards the goal of an integrated, balanced development calendar.

Contributes to Product Success by – Developing strong relationships and communication with other managers and CBORD team managers – particularly in the overall management activities of the division.

Management – Manages account representative within the long-term care marketplace. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees. Maintain staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Reporting - Meet regularly with the Director of Sales, file weekly reports, and keep the Vice President and President informed of activities.

Sales Engineer
Responsible for technical sales support for CBORD's Housing Management Systems and other product lines. Participate in sales presentations with Account Managers; and work with sales, support and development teams to meet prospective and current client needs.

The individual in this position will be the primary technical resource for the field sales force and will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. He or she must be able to identify all technical issues and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must have the ability to demonstrate software solutions in person and via the web. Duties may include IT/hardware reviews, topology development, RFP assistance, ongoing training, and demo database support.

The territory for this position will include the United States and Canada. Travel is heavy, around 60%. Relocation to Ithaca is not required for this position. Ideally, candidates would live near a major airport hub.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or a related field. At least two years of experience in a technical environment is required. Prior university housing experience and a good understanding of university housing business operations is a big plus.

We are looking for a motivated, positive, professional that has an enthusiastic image. Strong verbal and written skills, along with excellent organizational and time-management skills, are essential. The willingness to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule is also important.

Familiarity with relationship database management systems and a working knowledge of Windows OS, Client Server, Server Virtualization Technology, Communication, Security and Networking.

Familiarity with RDBMS a plus.
