Operations
Network Administrator
Evaluate, monitor and maintain corporate wide area and local area networks including all configuration and maintenance of routers, Ethernet switches and internal and perimeter firewalls. Primary individual responsible for all technical aspects of corporate Information systems security and event auditing. Corporate disaster recovery operations including maintenance and monitoring of DR site and revision of disaster recovery plans as needed.
  • Manage network infrastructure
  • Manage network security.
  • Manage corporate Firewall.
  • Manage corporate Storage Area Network and virtual infrastructure environment.
  • Manage network monitoring system.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues.
  • Monitor network load and recommend a plan for growth.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation on policies and procedures (security policies, backup, DR procedures, etc.)
  • Delegate and train other staff members on day-to-day operations.
Qualifications: Possess a BS in computer science and/or two years similar experience with at least 2 years of network administration experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of network, firewall, router and switch protocols required.
  • Knowledge of ESX, Xiotech SAN, Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux a big plus.
  • Experience with Firewalls, Cisco Routers, ESX Server, SAN technology.
  • Experience with network security.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to focus on details and follow through on complex projects.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
