What we need: We are looking for an Account Manager to develop relationships with Student Advantage national partners. This talented individual will work with our Partnership Development team to grow our existing national partner accounts and to develop marketing campaigns that help our partners meet their overall business objectives.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain day-to-day client services with 20-30 discount providers regarding their marketing plans, transaction reporting, commission payments, technology upgrades and contract renewals.
- Present annual partnership results and new marketing opportunities.
- When applicable, travel to client site for relationship building presentations/meetings
- Develop, implement and report on marketing initiatives featuring national partners and their partnership with the Student Advantage Card Create and distribute sales materials to recruit new business and up sell existing partners into marketing initiatives
- Regularly update and report on transaction and commissions results of national partners, including specialized reporting for a select group
- Recruit incremental offers beyond existing discount for national partners when applicable
- Circulate marketing materials for partner approval of language and logo placement
- Understand current market conditions and developments within discount national categories
Qualification Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and HTML a plus, but not a requirement. Strong ability to multi-task. Strong time-management, organizational, and communications skills a must. Minimal Travel

The Director of Marketing will primarily focus on driving new Cardholder acquisition, retention and renewal programs by creating and executing marketing programs and initiatives on line, off line and in support of other departments. The Director of Marketing will oversee and manage our Cardholder acquisition and Cardholder care programs which are on-line and on the phone. The Director of Marketing will be the champion for the brand management, graphic standards and content management of the company.
Essential Duties:
•Create and execute Internet marketing programs to meet strategic business and online marketing goals and objectives.
•Drive e-mail marketing and on-line advertising initiatives
•Develop SEO, Paid Search Strategies, Email Marketing processes and Optimization techniques for: keyword, display and email marketing.
•Evaluate existing campaigns (CPA, PPC, Internet Marketing, and Email Marketing) to determine areas to increase ROI and review upcoming plans for relevancy and impact.
•Track, cross-analyze and establish overall metrics for all marketing campaigns/programs; provide management reports and insight as needed. Maintain daily/weekly and monthly reports on marketing campaign status and overall performance in relation to plan. Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports that analyze e-campaign results, site traffic, conversion rates, costs, revenue and pertinent efficiencies and develop, review and approve web content for studentadvantage.com.
•Research current trends and keep up to date on all SEM strategies, engines and current events.
•Oversee and significantly grow the affiliate programs.
•Oversee improvements to enhance customer's experience through management of web analytics, creative design and content management. This includes product lifecycle development, from idea conception to implementation to launch.
•Manage consistency of company brand including messaging, look and feel, and image in all marketing material.
•Manage relationships with outside agencies and third party vendors.
•Develop and execute go-to-market strategies. This includes product positioning, messaging, marketing program planning, sales support materials, customer acquisition/retention programs, and market growth strategies.
•Lead team as we delve into wireless and other new technologies.
•Oversee and manage internal customer service agents focused on delivering Cardholder sales and service for our more than 200,000 Cardholders and 20,000 discount locations.
•Oversee and manage graphic designer, Internet marketing associate, affiliate development associate & marketing intern.
•Create and evaluate day-to-day primary communications for internal and external call center for best Card acquisition, discount location recruitment and increase partner transaction levels.
•Develop, implement and report on all activities related to the internal and external call center including aggressively attaining budgeted subscription and revenue targets.
•Cultivate, execute and report on new local discounts added to the Student Advantage Cardholder program.
•Review and implement online support sections at studentadvantage.com to ensure maximum effectiveness of studentadvantage.com.
Education and/or Experience:
•Desirable past business experience includes: Search engine Marketing, Internet Agency or Internet project management. Background in Email Marketing, Marketing or Advertising Industry
•Direct marketing experience a plus
•B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing or related field
