CBORD Welcomes Four New Clients to Its Australian User Community
For Immediate Release
August 22, 2006Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., the world's leading provider of software solutions for food and nutrition management systems and cashless dining, is pleased to welcome four new clients to its user community in the Asia-Pacific region. The addition of these clients takes CBORD’s client base in Australia to more than 100 hospitals and long-term care facilities.
CBORD’s newest Australian clients are:
- Total Catering Solutions Pty Ltd (Perth, Western Australia)
- The Sydney Adventist Hospital (Sydney, New South Wales)
- The Prince Charles Hospital (Brisbane, Queensland)
- Barwon Health (Geelong, Victoria)
These clients selected CBORD based upon a combination of the extensive functionality of the company’s software solutions, the innovative applications specifically developed for use in clinical environments, and convenience of their locally based office. Additionally, investment analysis indicated that CBORD provided the best return on investment.
"Experience, commitment, and reputation were amongst the key criteria in our selection of CBORD over other computer systems we reviewed. Our current systems were some 18 years old and we needed to select a new system as quickly as possible and to ensure that we could efficiently combine our three different methods of patient data collection," explains Barry Daniels, Food Services Manager for Barwon Health. "It was the functionality of their software that initially attracted us to the CBORD system, but it was the organizations reputation and ability to understand and support our needs that confirmed our decision to purchase CBORD computer software."
These new clients have chosen several solutions from CBORD’s product line including Foodservice Suite®, Nutrition Service Suite®, Bedside Menu Entry, and EventMaster® PLUS! catering and event management software.
"CBORD was selected because it met all our criteria for streamlining our menu planning process," says Margaret Duffy, Corporate Services Executive Officer of Sydney Adventist Hospital. "With CBORD systems being used widely in Australian healthcare, local office expertise in implementation and training gave us the confidence to select CBORD."
Headquartered in Ithaca, New York (USA), CBORD is dedicated to serving the needs of their Australian clients. The company established the Australian office in 1994, and the Sydney-based team of professionals works together with their clients from the initial sales visit through the final onsite implementation. All support and training is conducted locally as well.
"CBORD is extremely pleased to be expanding our Australian client-base," remarked Roy Hardin, Vice President, Foodservice Management Systems for The CBORD Group, Inc. "The solutions being implemented by our clients will help improve their overall patient and employee satisfaction, while improving efficiency and reducing risk management in their dietary and food service departments. We look forward to working together with our newest Australian clients to help them set the standard for quality healthcare!"
