HMS CBORD Chosen to Help With Property Management

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., is pleased to announce that Allen & O'Hara Education Services, LLC has licensed CBORD's Housing Management System, HMS CBORD™, to help manage their student residential properties in North Carolina. Headquartered in Ithaca, New York, The CBORD Group is the leading supplier of housing management systems and campus-wide ID systems at close to 500 colleges, universities, and property management companies across the United States and Canada.

Allen and O'Hara has purchased four modules of HMS for their property University Towers in Raleigh, NC and for their property in Chapel Hill, NC, Granville Towers. Additionally, they have purchased the same four modules for their corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN in order to pull weekly archives of information from each site, print reports, and look at actual records. The purchased modules include: the Facilities and Residents module, the Financial Transactions module, the Financial Transaction Batch Processing module, and the Data Interface module. HMS CBORD™ will enhance their customer service abilities while increasing productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the Financial Transaction Batch Processing module will eliminate the time needed to calculate resident fees by hand and allow fees to be sent automatically to the accounting system for billing.

A modular system, HMS CBORD™, is comprised of six modules. This allows institutions to develop a housing management system at a pace that suits the users and the budget. HMS CBORD™ is now available for Microsoft ® Windows ® 95 and Windows NT™.
