CBORD Releases Nutrition Service Suite Version 5.2.100
For Immediate Release
April 4, 2007
Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., the world’s leading provider of software solutions for food and nutrition management systems and cashless dining, has launched a new general release of Nutrition Service Suite® (NSS). Version 5.2.100 features key enhancements for hospital clients, especially those serving patients through a call-center room service program.
"The new functionality in version 5.2.100 gives NSS users more choice and control over how the system logic works to correct food selections, as well as many other helpful tools to increase patient and guest satisfaction," says Margaret Dittloff, MS, RD, and Product Manager at CBORD.
The version’s updated room service module streamlines data entry required to add guests to the system, takes their orders, and automatically links printing of these orders. The added room service benefits are not only great for patients and visitors—increasing overall satisfaction—they also provide an excellent opportunity to boost revenue.
Other system enhancements:
- Alternative“second patient identifiers" help satisfy The Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals.
- Added options to our pattern-fixing feature, which automatically adjusts patient meal selections to meet specific meal goals for diabetic, renal, or other pattern-based diets. Pattern-fixing was first introduced in NSS version 5.0.100.
- Additional safety measures enable compliance checking for supplements in case of new allergy orders to ensure patient safety.
