CBORD Executive Management - Tim Tighe
Tim brings 19 years of experience in marketing, sales, client services, and development at CBORD. The management team reporting to Tim directs the day-to-day operation of the company, representing about 430 full-time employees. CBORD is a leader in stored value transaction and foodservice management systems. CBORD offers a wide range of web and distributed applications for food and institutional services management. CBORD’s markets include healthcare, college and university, B&I, and contract management, as well as many supermarkets, theme parks, stadiums, and chain restaurants.
CBORD offers the most comprehensive and integrated systems available in our marketplace in a sophisticated relational database design. License growth of these products has been very strong, and CBORD is busy developing new, exciting web products for our customers.
During Tim's tenure at CBORD, customer installations have grown to over 4,000 sites spread throughout the US, Canada, and Australia, as well as a few in other parts of the world.
Tim received a BA in economics from the University of Rochester in 1978, and an MBA from the same institution in 1979. He is a CPA, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Society for Foodservice Management and the American Correctional Food Service Association. Tim previously served on the Efficient Foodservice Response (EFR) Supply Chain Demand Forecasting Committee, the Advisory Council for The National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management, and the Industry Advisory Council of The National Association of College and University Food Services.
Prior to joining CBORD, Tim was employed as a Senior Manager with KPMG.
