JOB DESCRIPTION:
When I was hired in 1994, I was put in charge of purchasing for the Nutrition and Food Services department. We had one PC in the department, and it belonged to our prime vendor. Piedmont had just signed the contract with CBORD. Purchasing kept me occupied until I started installing the Diet Office Management System. I have installed each component of CBORD systems at Piedmont (Diet Office, BME, FMS, Odyssey, and FSS). Basically I do anything that involves CBORD software, number crunching, and graphing, and solving software and hardware problems on all of the PCs and registers in the Nutrition and Food Services department.
PERSONAL:I am originally from southeastern Ohio. I moved to Atlanta in 1979 to get away from the snow. I now live in Decatur, Georgia with my two cats, Enki and Deri Zen. I cycle about 80 miles a week, dance (country and ballroom) 3 nights a week, and am learning to rock climb. If I feel like spending time at home, I play piano or read. I began renovating houses in 1999 and have finished my fourth house.
