The Nutritional Accounting extension of CBORD’s Foodservice Suite provides all the information needed to generate accurate statements on an item’s nutritional content, ingredients, allergens, and compatibility with healthy eating programs. Last year, we released an FDA-compliant Nutrition Facts report. Now, we’ve taken it to the next level, providing a way for you to design and print your own labels and place-cards using common commercially available label-making programs. In this session we’ll show you how this works and how it can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of your healthy eating programs.

Public vs. Private Operation in New South Wales Australia  (View Presentation / Handout)
An investigation into the Public Hospital system in New South Wales has shown a changing landscape of amalgamations of hospitals and merging of Area Health Services over the past 15 years. This session will highlight the issues, and challenges and outline the project plan you may need to consider in the event of a merger between facilities, we will use a case study on the experience at South Eastern Sydney Area Health Service.  We will also cover an analysis of the smaller private hospital network which is driven by competition for service, cost containment, and patient satisfaction.  A case study of the experience of Sydney Adventist Hospital in implementing CBORD will provide insight into the challenges of private healthcare, performance measures, and patient expectations.

Collecting key data at each step of the recipe development and testing process is essential for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of Missouri’s forecasting, pre-costing, ordering, advance withdrawal, advance preparation, production, and nutritional analysis processes.  In this session we will look at our process for collecting the data for recipe entry, and the various types of yields that need to be tracked, and see how the data is used within the CBORD system.

This new functionality utilizes a new user-interface framework and brings dashboard report functionality to the application. The sales performance report hits the nail square on the head when generating analysis of best and worst sales, best and worst margins, best and worst food costs, and top/bottom 5, 10, 20, 50. The reporting options and sort selections allow users to truly customize the exact report they need to best analyze their business. These reports are a big hit with all our customers.
