In recognition of their dedication to improving their site’s use of CBORD food and nutrition service products, Sharon Solomon and Graham Gulian (Graham has since left) from NY Presbyterian Hospital received the
Above & Beyond Award. By partnering with CBORD management and representatives, Sharon and Graham took the initiative to identify areas where their organization was not using CBORD’s products to their full potential. For a multi-site organization that serves approximately 1.6 million meals per year, increasing automation, improving operations, and reducing inefficiencies are crucial. Thanks to Sharon and Graham’s leadership, NY Presbyterian Hospital is well on its way to achieving those goals; Graham estimates that the site will realize food cost savings in the range of $1 million to $1.5 million this year.
