About CBORD’s 2011 Excellence Awards

CBORD values its clients and wants to honor client sites and individuals for their innovative uses of CBORD solutions and for their service to the greater CBORD user community.

Award Categories and Nomination Process

Think of the individuals or organizations you know—perhaps a colleague, partner organization, or even yourself!—who have influenced the CBORD user community in some way. Your nomination is the perfect way to recognize the impact of an individual or group in front of their peers at CBORD’s largest annual event!

The awards will honor two organizations and one individual in three categories: Visionary, One CBORD, and Above & Beyond (Individual). Nominations are open to all CBORD clients and may be self- or third-party nominated.

Award recipients will be announced at CBORD's 32nd annual User Group Conference (UGC), October 2–5, 2011, in Scottsdale, Arizona, during the Gala dinner on Tuesday, October 4. All finalists will be notified of their nomination and will be expected to attend the annual conference. Finalists should be prepared to deliver a brief acceptance speech if they are an award winner.

Criteria for all awards/nominations:

• Nominated organization or individual must be a CBORD client.
• More than one nomination per organization or individual may be submitted, but each nomination requires a separate, completed nomination form per category.

Award Categories

Visionary

The organization that receives the Visionary award must exemplify innovative or creative uses of CBORD solutions. This innovation may be demonstrated either through the use of existing CBORD products in unique ways, or by the integration of CBORD software with other marketplace solutions. Visionaries typify what it means to be pioneers in systems integration and developing new business applications that create valuable services for their customers.

One CBORD

This award represents CBORD’s mission to provide a wide range of integrated solutions to help clients from every market served run more efficiently and cost effectively, as well as to increase customer satisfaction. The One CBORD award will go to an organization that has realized benefits from integrating multiple CBORD systems. The recipient must exemplify integrated planning and foresight in tying multiple CBORD systems together across the organization to deliver a comprehensive solution to their customers.

Above & Beyond (Individual)

The Above & Beyond award is presented each year to an individual who partners closely with CBORD to develop new products or creative uses of existing CBORD solutions to benefit the greater CBORD user community. This individual has demonstrated a willingness to evaluate and provide user-led feedback on new products and technology; conduct beta tests; interfaced with CBORD and their partners to create new solutions or help solve technical integration challenges; and/or has been a valuable resource by sharing their unique knowledge, experience and results with the larger user community.
