2018 Visionary Award: Banner Health

The Banner Health Patient Order Service Center (POSC) created an innovative centralized contact center using CBORD Room Service Choice® for 11 facilities handling over 1.4 million inbound calls. New standardization processes allow customers to have the same experience at any Banner facility they choose to visit. By maximizing CBORD tools and information available to the user, POSC created an opportunity to use more skilled entry level staff to handle tasks, resulting in cost savings across the organization and additional career pathing opportunities for employees.
