Everything You Need for Your First UGC
We are excited to welcome first-time attendees of the CBORD User Group Conference. We’ve put together some helpful information to assist you in having a great conference experience.
ER Mobile App: Your Key to UGC
The first thing you should do is download ER Mobile. All the conference information you need is in the ERMobile app: sessions and certification schedules, maps, and more. Download it from your app store.
Android and iOS users:
- Go to your app store
- Search for “Event Rebels” and find the ERMobile app
- Tap the "Download" button to get the free app
- Sign in with your email address and Registrant ID number (found in your conference registration email from YesEvents.com, or when you arrive, on your badge)
Keep information up to date in ERMobile by selecting "Refresh Data" from the Settings menu.
If you’re arriving on Saturday, this is your day to relax. No conference events are taking place this day and UGC Registration is not yet open. Enjoy the Red Rock Casino, Resort, and Spa!
All UGC events take place on the 5th floor of the Red Rock.
On Sunday, UGC Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. in the 5th floor Registration area. Stop by to pick up your conference badge which you are required to wear for the duration of the conference and at all conference events. Registration is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, pay guest fees, etc. The registration desk is staffed until 6:00 p.m.
Be sure to attend your orientation session on Sunday in the Veranda room. For Healthcare, orientation is from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For Higher Education, orientation is 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. These sessions are led by CBORD team members and UGC volunteers and will provide you with helpful information about the conference.
Questions During the Conference
On Sunday, you will see CBORD team members dressed in black CBORD shirts and white badge lanyards. UGC volunteers will be in royal blue shirts and blue lanyards. Any one of us will be happy to assist you.
The conference registration desk is another great resource for you. Stop by for a visit during conference hours.
The Technology Exhibit is one of the highlights of UGC, where CBORD and our valued technology partners show off our latest innovations. You’ll be able to talk one-on-one with company representatives, see live demonstrations, and learn how to implement solution-oriented products.
The Technology Exhibit is open on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
UGC Rewards Game
There is a new game in town called UGC Rewards. Everyone is welcome to play, earn points, bragging rights, and enter a drawing for one of four Bluetooth speakers. You will also be able to redeem points for special daily prizes. Get details in the Technology Exhibit.
Opening Session officially kicks off the conference on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Summerlin Ballroom. Immediately following the Opening Session, please join us for a Welcome Reception at the Sandbar Pool outside where cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday breakfast and lunch will be served on the 5th floor around the Technology Exhibit.
The Excellence Awards Dinner is Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Summerlin Ballroom
Tuesday night is your free night on the town. Many onsite options are available, from fast-casual to sit-down, along with the award-winning Feast Buffet. If you want to dine offsite, there are many more restaurants nearby at Downtown Summerlin.
Most attendees are comfortable in business casual attire for educational sessions and the Welcome Reception. People tend to go a little dressier at the Excellence Awards dinner event; we’re calling it cocktail attire. Keep in mind that while we will be in Las Vegas, the indoors will be air-conditioned and you may be a bit chilly at times, so don’t forget to pack a sweater.
If you have additional questions, please email Amy Tracy. We’re excited about this year’s conference, and we can’t wait to see you there!
