CS Access™

CS Access, CBORD’s IP-based door access control system, works with CS Gold®, Odyssey, and CBORD’s Housing solution to provide integrated access control.

Combined with a comprehensive line of intelligent control panels and dual technology readers, CS Access provides a total access control solution.

Steps to Establish Partnership

The partner agreement is between CBORD and the partner organization.

  1. Execute CBORD Non-Disclosure Agreement (2 weeks)
  2. Submit credit application and reference check (1 month)
  3. Key staff members must acquire CBORD certification (3-6 months)

Hardware Installation

Hardware installation is comprised of locks (Allegion or ASSA ABLOY) and CBORD proprietary hardware including Squadron or Mercury panels and third-party readers.

Training is provided by CBORD at our Duluth, GA training center on the installation specifics of the panels and readers

CBORD Certification

CBORD requires that future partner staff installing CBORD propriety hardware are CBORD Certified. Certification is extended to individuals, not the partner organization.

Certification is based on system version and recertification may be required when there are system upgrades.

Squadron Installation with Third-Party Readers

Four-day, hands-on installation course covering how to install and maintain Squadron equipment and installation of Allegion wireless readers with Handkey II biometric reader. Additional topics include an overview of hardware and equipment, installation techniques, CS Access configuration, and communication needs.

Mercury Installation with Third-Party Readers

Four-day, hands-on installation course covering how to install and maintain Mercury equipment and installation of Allegion wireless readers with Handkey II biometric reader. Additional topics include an overview of hardware and equipment, installation techniques, CS Access configuration, and communication needs.

AD400 Integrated Lockset

Two-day training designed for contractors installing AD400 integrated locksets at CBORD customer sites. Training includes a discussion about commissioning not presented by manufacturer which ensures installation of locks is supported by CBORD products.

Please note CS Gold and CS Access classes are not open to third-party contractors.

Certificates

Certificates are emailed upon successfully passing the class test and full payment has been received.

Classes are scheduled quarterly at the CBORD and Horizon Duluth, GA training facility. Registration is first-come, first-served. Available class dates can be provided upon request along with costs. Payment is required prior to attending.

Class Hours

Class beings at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. each day. An hour will be set aside daily for lunch on your own. End time the last day is at the discretion of the instructor. We will be mindful of flight schedules as well as area traffic patterns.

Please plan to arrive a little early on day one. Receptionist will provide a security badge and notify your instructor to come and meet you.
