    The GET Website for CS Gold (GET Part 1) eLearning is a 1-hour online self-paced training that is designed to guide you through the key features of the GET Platform.  This course focuses on how your “patrons” use GET and also provides your administrators/staff with an understanding of the different areas/options that you will need to configure.  After watching this eLearning series, be sure to watch the GET Admin Site for CS Gold (GET Part 2) eLearning to learn about GET configuration, running of reports/logs, reconciliation, and much more

    Part 2: Admin site

    The GET Admin Site for CS Gold (GET Part 2) eLearning is a 3-hour online self-paced training.  This course is designed for GET administrators/staff who need to configure and maintain GET for a CS Gold system.  Topics such as configuring merchant information, creating menus, viewing orders, managing deposits, running logs/reports/exports, reconciliation, photo review process, customizing GET, configuring GET, and user management are all discussed within this course.  Prior to watching this eLearning series, be sure to watch the GET Website for CS Gold (GET Part 1) eLearning.        

    Part 3: Reservations

    GET Reservations for CS Gold is a 45 minute online self-paced training.  This course is designed for administrators and staff who need to understand how GET Order (GET Food) can be used for the purpose of reservations within GET.  Topics such as reservations blocks, reservation zones, configuring merchants and menus for reservations purposes, and changing the default wording of GET to accommodate reservations is discussed within this course.  

    Part 4: Rewards

    GET Rewards for CS Gold is a 95-minute online self-paced training.  This course is designed for administrators who need to configure a “patron loyalty program” within GET.  A GET Rewards program provides rewards to patrons through points and/or levels of points accumulated for patron actions.  Basically, a program where patrons are eligible to earn points and gain rewards for their activities and/or transaction purchases.  Topics such as using GET Rewards, Reward Tracks, Point Accumulation Rules, Rewards Levels, Experience Points, Reward Points, Reward Redemption Options, and detailed configuration options are all discussed within this course.

    A CS Gold Learning Subscription provides self-paced instruction for learning about CS Gold modules and features. The Learning Subscription includes basic operation courses for front-of-house users who work directly with your patrons, and more advanced courses for users who are responsible for maintaining, managing, and configuring specific areas within CS Gold.

    CS Gold Basic Operations Course (Web) – Part 1: Patron Accounts (3 hours)

    Learn about the Patron Lookup module within CS Gold WebManager/Admin Web.  The Patron Lookup module is used to manually view, add, modify, assign/unassign, and delete CS Gold patron account information.  This course is typically viewed by users who work heavily with patrons and their patron accounts.  After completing this course, you will be able to answer questions for patrons regarding their accounts, make any necessary changes, and have a solid understanding of the different areas found within a CS Gold patron account.  This course is recommended for anyone using the web to work with CS Gold patron account information. 

    CS Gold Basic Operations Course (Web) – Part 2: Reports (1 hour)

    Learn about CS Gold reporting within WebManager/Admin Web.  The Ad-Hoc Reports, Stored Reports, and Metrics Dashboard modules are all covered during this course.  This course is intended for anyone whose daily operations require CS Gold reporting. After completing this course, you will have a solid understanding of accessing, running, and viewing CS Gold reports and data.   

    CS Gold Basic Operations Course (Client App/GUI) – Part 1: Patron Accounts (3 hours)

After completing this course, you will have a solid understanding of accessing, running, and viewing CS Gold reports and data.   

    CS Gold Automating Tasks (Batch Queue) (3 hours)

    The CS Gold Automating Tasks (Batch Queue) course discusses automating specific jobs/tasks within the CS Gold system. You will learn how to create jobs using the Batch Queue Manager within WebManager/Admin Web, using Batch Queue Manager within the CS Gold Client Application (CS Gold GUI), and using command line switches for jobs and tasks.  You will learn how to create, start, pause/resume, suspend/stop, and reset “Batch Queues” and “Batch Queue Jobs.”  Topics such as exploring log files, verifying Batch Queue is running, starting Batch Queue if it is not running, understanding system environment variables, understanding the CS Gold Environment Command File, and much more are discussed within this course.  The course will also walk through many examples of Batch Queue Jobs (such as vending meal plans, setting svc plan balances to 0, setting svc plan balances to a specific amount, increasing/decreasing svc plan balances, moving/copying files, zipping files, inserting/updating/deleting of CS Gold information, exporting of data from CS Gold, and the automating of CS Gold imports).

    CS Gold Flags, Patron Groups, and Housing Fields (3.5 hours)

    Reports
    Odyssey Reports provide you with the necessary information you need from the Odyssey system. Learn how to select and run Odyssey Reports. You will learn how to filter your report criteria and save report results.

    Reconciliation
    Reconciliation is an important part of the Odyssey system. The Reconciliation sessions discuss the importance of Settle Drawer (Cash Drawer) Reconciliation, Location to Odyssey Reconciliation, and Odyssey Tender Reconciliation.

    Terminals
    The Terminals sessions discuss how to create and maintain new and existing terminals within the Odyssey system.  Watch these sessions to understand terminal functionality.

    System Settings
    System Settings include sessions that discuss many system settings and their importance to the Odyssey system.

    Managing Odyssey User Accounts
    The Managing Odyssey User Accounts sessions discuss how to create new Users and/or new User Groups within your Odyssey system. You will learn how to set permission privileges. Viewing a User’s activity (log) is also discussed within these sessions.

    This video set serves as a resource and complement to other training and is designed to provide review and guidance in working with NEXTEP.   The set consists of short, task-focused videos that cover various features and functions of the NEXTEP system. 

    Topics include: dashboard, menus, accounts, promotions, order history, reports, employees, point of sale operations, system functions, diagnostics, and reconciliation of NEXTEP Point-of-Sale Registers and Kiosks.   Note that some components of the course are still in development.

    Combo Meals (7 minutes)
    Combo Meals, also an advanced Menu Item topic, provides instruction in Combo Meal Group creation and assignment to Combo Meals. A Combo Meal typically offers a cost savings over ordering the Menu Item individually.
